Students are advised to plan for their higher studies at least one year ahead. This will help them to systematize the process to get enrolled in their desired institution. The student also gets ample time to look into the available opportunities in regard to scholarships, bursaries, assistantships, etc.

Abroad studying needs rigorous planning and of course a good guidance. We advise our students to take the advise from the experts and experienced counselors who could assist you in the course selection, country selection and institution selection based on your present capabilities. Students need to collect maximum information on the subject matter and the institution they wish to apply for.

Employment while studying

Students should not count on employment as a means of covering all their expenses while they are pursuing their academic program. However, international students can apply for part time work permission. The number of hours for part time work is 15-20 hrs per week depending upon the country of study.

Some of the banks in Nepal provides educational loans to students who have achieved good academic records and repayment scheme.

Scholarships

There are lots of scholarships schemes in various institutions. We at CCNPL encourage you and help you to apply for grants, scholarships, financial aid, work study employment and loans.

The students will have to meet different criteria to be eligible to compete for the scholarships. It is totally up to the Universities and Colleges to decide over the amount of scholarships awarded to the students. Students demonstrating outstanding academic and extra curricular skills are successful in achieving higher side of the scholarships and aids. We have universities and colleges offering up to 70% scholarships depending upon the students' capability.

Generally outstanding academic results, good TOEFL score, good SAT score, good writing skills and expression of ideas, GRE and GMAT scores are the preferable areas for grants and scholarships.
